We have been called by the Lord to serve Him as missionaries in Tanzania! Linda’s previous service in Papua New Guinea solidified her love for international ministry. She has her Masters in Social Work and is a consecrated Deaconess in the Lutheran Church. Eric has felt the Lord’s call to serve Him in Africa since grade school. He has a Master’s degree in Mathematics and taught Math and Physics at Lutheran High School North (St. Louis) for 7 years. Eric left his full-time job at Lutheran North to pursue his missionary calling.
We moved to Tanzania in September of 2012. After three months at a language school learning Swahili, we began our work in Mwadui, Tanzania (for a Google map/pictures, click here). Eric teaches math, physics and computers at Mwadui Lutheran Secondary School. Linda teaches a guidance and counseling course at the school, works with the Lutheran church on community development projects, and home-schools our son Michael. Michael joined our family in September of 2015 through adoption and daily brings joy to us and our community. For more information about our ministry, please watch this video.
