Rev. Chimah and Success with their two children are preparing for service in Uganda.  Chimah is a pastor in the Lutheran Church of Nigeria and with his wife, Success, they desire to serve as missionaries bringing God’s love and the Good News of salvation to others in need of Christ.

Chimah, from Imo state, has been serving in the LCN for close to 19 years, from Evangelist to ordained Reverend. All his ministry has been been building and raising up soldiers for Christ. He most recently served as missionary at the LCN mission station in Yenagoa, Bayelsa.

Success, from Imo state also, has been a gift from God to her husband’s ministry in supporting to build the church of God. She is a trained community health worker, but is not currently employed in that work as she raises their family and assists the mission work.

Their love for Christ and for the souls of His people is leading them to Uganda as missionaries under Global Lutheran Outreach – a mission organization working to multiply Lutheran missionaries sent from countries around the world.

The Francis family will be working in refugee camps filled with people who have fled the fighting in South Sudan. The more than 1 million peiople in the camps have many needs. But their greatest need can only be met by Christ, who alone delivers from sin, death, and the devil.
