Meet Heather & Nathan Pittman

Birthdays:

Heather:  February 14

Nathan:   February 4

Jay:   April 9th

Wedding Anniversary:

June 30th

Heather and Nathan Pittman are excited to follow God’s call to return to Africa
to continue God’s work at Rift Valley Academy in Kijabe, Kenya. Heather will be
teaching K-5 music, and Nathan will be providing tech support for the school as
well as continuing to provide tech support to the other Global Lutheran
Outreach missionaries around the globe.
Heather’s family returned to the United States in 2012 after 12 years of mission
work in Jos. Upon returning stateside, Heather met born and bred Texan,
Nathan. The two got married 6 years later. After 3 years of work in the St. Louis
area, they followed God’s call to Jos, Nigeria to serve at the school that Heather
grew up attending. Their family’s needs changed in the summer of 2022, and
God provided answers for those needs in the form of a new mission field where
they can continue to serve in Africa.
Nathan loves just about anything related to computers. He loves to build them,
fix them, code on them and play games on them. He also enjoys cooking in his
spare time. Heather is happiest when she is teaching and/or making music. She
loves to use her musical talents to help lead worship at their church and inspire
her students to praise God using their voices and instruments.
Now a 4th generation missionary, Heather is humbled and blessed to be
following in the footsteps of her parents and grandparents, Ivan and Jennifer
Rasch and Wally and Betty Rasch, former LCMS missionaries to Nigeria, as well
as her great-grandparents, Arthur and Marie Rasch, former LCMS missionaries
to India.

Please Pray for:
● Open hearts and ears for the Pittmans to hear how God can use them
and work through them in their new home.
● Faithful supporters who join with GLO and the Pittmans in prayer and
sharing their talents and treasure to make it possible for the Pittmans
to head to Kenya this summer.
