Pastor Bo and Barb Brink served as church planting missionaries in Venezuela for 20 years, from 1979 to 1999. They also planted churches in Iowa District West among Hispanic immigrants from 1999 to 2007. Bo and Barb enjoyed serving at Faith Community Lutheran Church in Las Vegas for the last six years of their active ministry. They retired in 2017, but have kept busy serving in various foreign missions, including Liberia, several trips to the Dominican Republic, and participating for 6 months in two church plants in Lima, Peru.
Bo and Barb feel right at home in Latin America, and now have been invited to serve in Santiago, Chile. The Brinks will be filling in for Pastor Jim and Liisa Tino while they are on a sabbatical in the States. From September through November Bo and Barb will help with the Tinos’ church plant in Santiago, evangelizing, training lay leaders, teaching and preaching.
