Christmas of the nations!

This Christmas is the arrival of a team of eight landscaping the countries of Korea, Thailand, and the US. All of these adults know each other from over 20 years ago when they were all at the university and my eldest daughter (here) was married during that time. Since George and I had shepherded an international ministry that spanned over 25 years, it was not unusual to see that this wedding was very international. These two families are now five kids later. So Christmas in the village is a bit different this year, as we embrace our local families over these days in song, worship, activities, and a community meal for 250. God is good !

Moving out

Please pray with/for all of the efforts/transitions, and so much more in this move back to my visa country in just two weeks. It has been a very long 16 months since George departed this earthly realm, and upon my stepping on that plane in two weeks, it is almost exactly to the hour that he received his heavenly wings those 16 months ago. A new chapter is in the making, but getting ready for this rodeo is already in place from all those nearly 11 years in this country. To God be it always to His glory.

As the daylight hours in the north are waning, and the evening temps are cooler, an opportunity presented itself to sit for a bit and catch up with all the latest in God’s ministry half a world away in the Siem Reap area of Cambodia. We are grateful for the continued opportunity to remain connected in spit of half a world and 12 time zones difference plus an obvious global upheaval. God remains constant…and is so good….all the time.
