Waiting to cross into Brazil…
A LOOOOoooong wait!
But everyone had a great attitude while riding hours and hours on the bus!
We played cards… and hat toss… anything!!
Finally…53 hours later we arrive at the Youth Gathering in Santa Catarina, Brazil!
We made it just in time for the opening ceremony…
The count down!
And the show began!!!
Connie, Omar, Fernanda, Sebastian and Valentina bring in the flag of Chile!

We did LOTS OF WALKING at the 6 day event….
A drank lots of “terere”…cold tea shared from one cup.
And were encouraged at this HUGE gathering of Lutherans!
Celebrating 500 years of the Reformation!
