Prayer

Pray for:

• We ask for prayers for our former youth group members, that they may not stray from God’s path, and for the new youth members, that Jesus may fill their hearts.
• The children in the various church projects and for our first VBS (Vacation Bible School).
• Our family: that God’s guidance is with us at every moment.
• Our Lutheran Church in Guatemala: that God blesses, protects, and guides them to follow the steps of Jesus Christ.
• Health for our family, in general.
• The successful creation of the GLO Guatemala association.
• We give thanks for being with our brothers and sisters in Christ in Guyana. We also ask for blessings and health in their homes.
• That God touches the hearts of people here in Guyana to become actively involved in the church and its ministries (Sunday school, Bible study groups, prayer group).
• That God heals the hearts of the members of the Lutheran Church in Guyana: that the Lord grants them unity within the church.
• We are thankful for how the Lutheran Church in Guatemala got involved with the mission after our first mission tour.
• That God shows us how to prepare physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually to carry out the mission in Guyana according to God’s perfect will.
• That God blesses the homes of all the people supporting us, providing them with peace, health, and prosperity for the coming year.
• That God protects the health of everyone who is part of GLO and allows us to continue with His mission that He has given to each one of us.

Answers to our prayers:
Thanks to God, we have health! And the churches in Guyana are helping us undertake new projects, like the VBS. In 2023, we began with music classes, a prayer group, and Bible studies, and we have two people who will be involved in both the music ministry and the Christian education ministry. We ask for their perseverance and that more interested people may arise.
