2 Peter 2:11-20

11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; 12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. 13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; 14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. 15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: 16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. 17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king. 18 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward. 19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. 20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.

2 Pedro 2:11-20

11 Amados, yo os ruego como a extranjeros y peregrinos, que os abstengáis de las concupiscencias carnales que batallan contra el alma; 12 manteniendo vuestra honesta manera de vivir entre los gentiles; para que, en lo que ellos murmuran de vosotros como de malhechores, al ver vuestras buenas obras, glorifiquen a Dios en el día de la visitación. 13 Sujetaos a toda ordenación humana por causa del Señor; ya sea al rey, como a superior, 14 ya a los gobernadores, como por Él enviados para castigo de los malhechores y alabanza de los que hacen bien. 15 Porque ésta es la voluntad de Dios; que haciendo el bien, hagáis callar la ignorancia de los hombres vanos. 16 Como libres, mas no usando la libertad para cobertura de malicia, sino como siervos de Dios. 17 Honrad a todos. Amad la hermandad. Temed a Dios. Honrad al rey. 18 Siervos, sujetaos con todo temor a vuestros amos; no solamente a los buenos y amables, sino también a los que son severos. 19 Porque esto es loable, si alguno a causa de la conciencia delante de Dios, sufre molestias padeciendo injustamente. 20 Porque ¿qué gloria es, si pecando vosotros sois abofeteados, y lo sufrís? Pero si haciendo bien sois afligidos, y lo sufrís, esto ciertamente es agradable delante de Dios.

John 10:11-16

11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. 12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. 13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. 15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

Juan 10:11-16

11 “Yo soy el buen pastor; el buen pastor su vida da por las ovejas.” 12 “Mas el asalariado, y que no es el pastor, de quien no son propias las ovejas, ve venir al lobo y deja las ovejas y huye, y el lobo arrebata las ovejas y las dispersa.” 13 “Así que el asalariado huye, porque es asalariado, y no tiene cuidado de las ovejas.” 14 “Yo soy el buen pastor y conozco mis ovejas, y las mías me conocen.” 15 “Como el Padre me conoce, así también yo conozco al Padre; y pongo mi vida por las ovejas.” 16 “También tengo otras ovejas que no son de este redil; aquéllas también debo traer, y oirán mi voz; y habrá un rebaño, y un pastor.”

John 20:19-31

19¶Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. 20 And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord. 21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. 22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: 23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained. 24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. 26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. 27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. 29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. 30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

19 Y el mismo día al anochecer, siendo el primero de la semana, estando las puertas cerradas en donde los discípulos estaban reunidos por miedo a los judíos, vino Jesús, y poniéndose en medio, les dijo: “Paz a vosotros.” 20 Y habiendo dicho esto, les mostró sus manos y su costado. Entonces los discípulos se regocijaron viendo al Señor. 21 Entonces Jesús les dijo otra vez: “Paz a vosotros: Como me envió el Padre, así también yo os envío.” 22 Y habiendo dicho esto, sopló en ellos, y les dijo: “Recibid el Espíritu Santo.” 23 “A quienes remitiereis los pecados, les son remitidos; a quienes se los retuviereis, les son retenidos.” 24 Pero Tomás, uno de los doce, llamado Dídimo, no estaba con ellos cuando Jesús vino. 25 Le dijeron, pues, los otros discípulos: Hemos visto al Señor. Y él les dijo: Si no viere en sus manos la señal de los clavos, y metiere mi dedo en el lugar de los clavos, y metiere mi mano en su costado, no creeré. 26 Y ocho días después, estaban otra vez sus discípulos dentro, y con ellos Tomás. Entonces vino Jesús, estando las puertas cerradas, y poniéndose en medio, dijo: “Paz a vosotros.” 27 Entonces dijo a Tomás: “Mete tu dedo aquí, y ve mis manos; y da acá tu mano, y métela en mi costado; y no seas incrédulo, sino creyente.” 28 Y Tomás respondió, y le dijo: ¡Señor mío, y Dios mío! 29 Jesús le dijo: “Tomás, porque me has visto, creíste; bienaventurados los que no vieron, y creyeron.” 30 Y ciertamente muchas otras señales hizo Jesús en presencia de sus discípulos, las cuales no están escritas en este libro. 31 Pero éstas se han escrito, para que creáis que Jesús es el Cristo, el Hijo de Dios; y para que creyendo, tengáis vida en su nombre.

John 20:1-18

1 Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb. 2 So she ran and went to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him.” 3 So Peter went out with the other disciple, and they were going toward the tomb. 4 Both of them were running together, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. 5 And stooping to look in, he saw the linen cloths lying there, but he did not go in. 6 Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying there, 7 and the face cloth, which had been on Jesus’ head, not lying with the linen cloths but folded up in a place by itself. 8 Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; 9 for as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead. 10 Then the disciples went back to their homes. 11 But Mary stood weeping outside the tomb, and as she wept she stooped to look into the tomb. 12 And she saw two angels in white, sitting where the body of Jesus had lain, one at the head and one at the feet. 13 They said to her, Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “They have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid him.” 14 Having said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing, but she did not know that it was Jesus. 15 Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” Supposing him to be the gardener, she said to him, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.” 16 Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to him in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means Teacher). 17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to y brothers and say to them, *xz‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to *xamy God and your God.’” 18 Mary Magdalene *xbwent and announced to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord”—and that he had said these things to her.

1 Y el primer día de la semana, de mañana, siendo aún oscuro, María Magdalena vino al sepulcro, y vio quitada la piedra del sepulcro. 2 Entonces corrió, y vino a Simón Pedro, y al otro discípulo, a quien amaba Jesús, y les dijo: Se han llevado del sepulcro al Señor, y no sabemos dónde le han puesto. 3 Pedro entonces salió, y el otro discípulo, y fueron al sepulcro. 4 Y corrían los dos juntos; pero el otro discípulo corrió más aprisa que Pedro, y llegó primero al sepulcro. 5 Y bajándose a mirar, vio los lienzos puestos allí; mas no entró. 6 Luego llegó Simón Pedro tras él, y entró en el sepulcro, y vio los lienzos puestos allí, 7 y el sudario que había estado sobre su cabeza, no puesto con los lienzos, sino envuelto en un lugar aparte. 8 Entonces entró también el otro discípulo, que había llegado primero al sepulcro, y vio, y creyó. 9 Porque aún no habían entendido la Escritura, que era necesario que Él resucitase de los muertos. 10 Entonces los discípulos se volvieron a sus casas. 11 Pero María estaba fuera llorando junto al sepulcro; y llorando se inclinó y miró dentro del sepulcro; 12 y vio dos ángeles en ropas blancas que estaban sentados, el uno a la cabecera, y el otro a los pies, donde el cuerpo de Jesús había sido puesto. 13 Y le dijeron: Mujer, ¿por qué lloras? Ella les dijo: Porque se han llevado a mi Señor, y no sé dónde le han puesto. 14 Y habiendo dicho esto, volteó hacia atrás, y vio a Jesús que estaba allí; mas no sabía que era Jesús. 15 Jesús le dijo: “Mujer, ¿por qué lloras? ¿A quién buscas?” Ella, pensando que era el hortelano, le dijo: Señor, si tú le has llevado, dime dónde le has puesto, y yo lo llevaré. 16 Jesús le dijo: “María.” Volviéndose ella, le dijo: ¡Raboni! (que quiere decir, Maestro). 17 Jesús le dijo: “No me toques; porque aún no he subido a mi Padre; mas ve a mis hermanos, y diles: Subo a mi Padre y a vuestro Padre, a mi Dios y a vuestro Dios.” 18 Vino María Magdalena dando las nuevas a los discípulos de que había visto al Señor, y que Él le había dicho estas cosas.

Isaiah 53:1-7

1 Who has believed what they heard from us?
And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
2 For he grew up before him like a young plant,
and like a root out of dry ground;
he had no form or majesty that we should look at him,and no beauty that we should desire him.
3 He was despised and rejected by men;
a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief;
and as one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he has borne our griefs
and carried our sorrows;
yet we esteemed him stricken,smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions;
he was crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned every one to his own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted,
yet he opened not his mouth;
like a lamb that is led to the slaughter,
and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent,
so he opened not his mouth.

1 ¿Quién ha creído a nuestro anuncio? ¿Y sobre quién se ha manifestado el brazo de Jehová? 2 Subirá cual renuevo delante de Él, y como raíz de tierra seca; no hay parecer en Él, ni hermosura; le veremos, mas sin atractivo para que le deseemos. 3 Despreciado y desechado entre los hombres, varón de dolores, experimentado en quebranto; y como que escondimos de Él el rostro, fue menospreciado, y no lo estimamos. 4 Ciertamente llevó Él nuestras enfermedades, y sufrió nuestros dolores; y nosotros le tuvimos por azotado, por herido de Dios y abatido. 5 Mas Él herido fue por nuestras transgresiones, molido por nuestros pecados; el castigo de nuestra paz fue sobre Él, y por su llaga fuimos nosotros curados. 6 Todos nosotros nos descarriamos como ovejas, cada cual se apartó por su camino; mas Jehová cargó en Él el pecado de todos nosotros. 7 Angustiado Él, y afligido, no abrió su boca; como cordero fue llevado al matadero; y como oveja delante de sus trasquiladores, enmudeció, y no abrió su boca.

John 13:1-20

1 Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end. 2 And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray him; 3 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God; 4 He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself. 5 After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded. 6 Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet? 7 Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. 8 Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. 9 Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. 10 Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all. 11 For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean. 12 So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? 13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. 14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet. 15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. 16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. 17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them. 18 ¶I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me. 19 Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he. 20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

1 Y antes de la fiesta de la pascua, sabiendo Jesús que su hora había llegado para que pasase de este mundo al Padre, como había amado a los suyos que estaban en el mundo, los amó hasta el fin. 2 Y cuando terminó la cena, el diablo habiendo ya puesto en el corazón de Judas Iscariote, hijo de Simón, que le entregase; 3 sabiendo Jesús que el Padre le había dado todas las cosas en sus manos, y que había venido de Dios, y a Dios iba, 4 se levantó de la cena, y se quitó su túnica, y tomando una toalla, se ciñó. 5 Luego puso agua en un lebrillo, y comenzó a lavar los pies de los discípulos, y a enjugarlos con la toalla con que estaba ceñido. 6 Entonces vino a Simón Pedro; y Pedro le dijo: Señor, ¿tú me lavas los pies? 7 Respondió Jesús y le dijo: “Lo que yo hago, tú no lo entiendes ahora; pero lo entenderás después.” 8 Pedro le dijo: No me lavarás los pies jamás. Jesús le respondió: “Si no te lavare, no tendrás parte conmigo.” 9 Le dijo Simón Pedro: Señor, no sólo mis pies, sino también mis manos y mi cabeza. 10 Le dijo Jesús: “El que ha sido lavado, no necesita sino que lave sus pies, porque está todo limpio; y vosotros sois limpios, aunque no todos.” 11 Pues Él sabía quién le iba a entregar, por eso dijo: “No sois limpios todos.” 12 Así que, después que les hubo lavado los pies, y que hubo tomado su túnica, se sentó otra vez, y les dijo: “¿Sabéis lo que os he hecho?” 13 “Vosotros me llamáis Maestro, y Señor, y decís bien, porque lo soy.” 14 “Pues si yo, vuestro Señor y Maestro, he lavado vuestros pies, vosotros también debéis lavaros los pies los unos a los otros.” 15 “Porque ejemplo os he dado, para que también vosotros hagáis como yo os he hecho.” 16 “De cierto, de cierto os digo: El siervo no es mayor que su señor, ni el enviado es mayor que el que le envió.” 17 “Si sabéis estas cosas, bienaventurados seréis si las hiciereis.” 18 “No hablo de todos vosotros; yo conozco a los que he escogido; mas para que se cumpla la Escritura: El que come pan conmigo, levantó contra mí su calcañar.” 19 “Desde ahora os lo digo, antes que suceda, para que cuando suceda, creáis que yo soy.” 20 “De cierto, de cierto os digo: El que recibe al que yo enviare, a mí me recibe; y el que a mí recibe, recibe al que me envió.”
