The Jerusalem Cross, also known as the Pligrim’s Cross, signifies pilgrimage to the Holy City. Not just the earthly Jerusalem, but also the heavenly city (Revelation 21:9-27). The cross also signifies the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ from Jerusalem to the four corners of the earth. Finally, in Venezuela, it is the emblem of the Juan de Frias Theological Insttute.
