Luke 8:4-15

4 And when a great crowd was gathering and people from town after town came to him, he said in a parable: 5 “A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell along the path and was trampled underfoot, and the birds of the air devoured it. 6 And some fell on the rock, and as it grew up, it withered away, because it had no moisture. 7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up with it and choked it. 8 And some fell into good soil and grew and yielded a hundredfold.” As he said these things, he called out, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” 9 And when his disciples asked him what this parable meant, 10 he said, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables, so that ‘seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.” 11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12 The ones along the path are those who have heard. Then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. 13 And the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear the word, receive it with joy. But these have no root; they believe for a while, and in time of testing fall away. 14 And as for what fell among the thorns, they are those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not mature. 15 As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience.

Lucas 8:4-15

4 Y cuando se juntó una gran multitud, y vinieron a Él de cada ciudad, les dijo por parábola: 5 “El sembrador salió a sembrar su semilla; y al sembrarla, una parte cayó junto al camino, y fue hollada; y las aves del cielo la comieron.” 6 “Y otra parte cayó sobre la piedra; y nacida, se secó, porque no tenía humedad.” 7 “Y otra parte cayó entre espinos; y creciendo los espinos juntamente con ella, la ahogaron.” 8 “Y otra parte cayó en buena tierra, y nació, y llevó fruto a ciento por uno.” Y hablando estas cosas, dijo a gran voz: “El que tiene oídos para oír, oiga. ” 9 Y sus discípulos le preguntaron, diciendo: ¿Qué significa esta parábola? 10 Y Él dijo: “A vosotros os es dado conocer los misterios del reino de Dios; mas a los otros por parábolas, para que viendo no vean, y oyendo no entiendan.” 11 “Ésta es, pues, la parábola: La semilla es la palabra de Dios.” 12 “Y los de junto al camino, éstos son los que oyen; y luego viene el diablo y quita la palabra de su corazón, para que no crean y sean salvos.” 13 “Y los de sobre la piedra, son los que habiendo oído, reciben la palabra con gozo; pero éstos no tienen raíces; que por un tiempo creen, pero en el tiempo de la prueba se apartan.” 14 “Y la que cayó entre espinos; éstos son los que oyen; mas yéndose, son ahogados de los afanes y las riquezas y los placeres de esta vida, y no llevan fruto.” 15 “Mas la que en buena tierra, éstos son los que con corazón bueno y recto retienen la palabra oída, y llevan fruto con paciencia.”

Matthew 20:1-16

1 “For the kingdom of heaven is like a master of a house who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. 2 After agreeing with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard. 3 And going out about the third hour he saw others standing idle in the marketplace, 4 and to them he said, ‘You go into the vineyard too, and whatever is right I will give you.’ 5 So they went. Going out again about the sixth hour and the ninth hour, he did the same. 6 And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing. And he said to them, ‘Why do you stand here idle all day?’ 7 They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You go into the vineyard too.’ 8 And when evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, ‘Call the laborers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last, up to the first.’ 9 And when those hired about the eleventh hour came, each of them received a denarius. 10 Now when those hired first came, they thought they would receive more, but each of them also received a denarius. 11 And on receiving it they grumbled at the master of the house, 12 saying, ‘These last worked only one hour, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat.’ 13 But he replied to one of them, Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius? 14 Take what belongs to you and go. I choose to give to this last worker as I give to you. 15 Am I not allowed to do what I choose with what belongs to me? Or do you begrudge my generosity? 16 So the last will be first, and the first last.”

Mateo 20:1-16

1 “Porque el reino de los cielos es semejante a un hombre, padre de familia, que salió por la mañana a contratar obreros para su viña.” 2 “Y habiendo acordado con los obreros en un denario al día, los envió a su viña.” 3 “Y saliendo cerca de la hora tercera, vio a otros en la plaza que estaban ociosos,” 4 “y les dijo: Id también vosotros a mi viña, y os daré lo que sea justo. Y ellos fueron.” 5 “Salió otra vez cerca de las horas sexta y novena, e hizo lo mismo.” 6 “Y saliendo cerca de la hora undécima, halló a otros que estaban ociosos, y les dijo: ¿Por qué estáis aquí todo el día ociosos?” 7 “Ellos le dicen: Porque nadie nos ha contratado. Él les dijo: Id también vosotros a la viña, y recibiréis lo que sea justo.” 8 “Y cuando cayó la tarde, el señor de la viña dijo a su mayordomo: Llama a los obreros y págales el jornal, comenzando desde los postreros hasta los primeros.” 9 “Y viniendo los que habían ido cerca de la hora undécima, recibieron cada uno un denario.” 10 “Y cuando vinieron los primeros, pensaban que habían de recibir más, pero ellos también recibieron cada uno un denario.” 11 “Y al recibirlo, murmuraban contra el padre de familia,” 12 “diciendo: Estos postreros han trabajado sólo una hora, y los has hecho iguales a nosotros, que hemos llevado la carga y el calor del día.” 13 “Mas él respondiendo, dijo a uno de ellos: Amigo, no te hago agravio; ¿no acordaste conmigo por un denario?” 14 “Toma lo que es tuyo y vete; pero quiero dar a este postrero igual que a ti.” 15 “¿No me es lícito hacer lo que quiero con lo mío? ¿O es malo tu ojo porque yo soy bueno?” 16 “Así, los primeros serán postreros, y los postreros, primeros: Porque muchos son llamados, mas pocos escogidos.”

Matthew 17:1-9

1 And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James, and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2 And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became white as light. 3 And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, talking with him. 4 And Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good that we are here. If you wish, I will make three tents here, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah.” 5 He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son,with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.” 6 When the disciples heard this, they fell on their faces and were terrified. 7 But Jesus came and touched them, saying, “Rise, and have no fear.” 8 And when they lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only. 9 And as they were coming down the mountain, Jesus commanded them, “Tell no one the vision, until the Son of Man is raised from the dead.”

Mateo 17:1-9

1 Y después de seis días, Jesús tomó a Pedro, y a Jacobo, y a Juan su hermano, y los llevó aparte a un monte alto; 2 y se transfiguró delante de ellos; y su rostro resplandeció como el sol, y su vestidura se hizo blanca como la luz. 3 Y he aquí les aparecieron Moisés y Elías, hablando con Él. 4 Entonces respondiendo Pedro, dijo a Jesús: Señor, bueno es que estemos aquí; si quieres, hagamos aquí tres tabernáculos; uno para ti, uno para Moisés, y uno para Elías. 5 Mientras Él aún hablaba, una nube resplandeciente los cubrió; y he aquí una voz desde la nube, que decía: Éste es mi Hijo amado, en quien tengo contentamiento; a Él oíd. 6 Y oyendo esto los discípulos, cayeron sobre sus rostros, y temieron en gran manera. 7 Entonces Jesús vino y los tocó, y dijo: “Levantaos, y no temáis.” 8 Y alzando ellos sus ojos a nadie vieron, sino a Jesús solo. 9 Y cuando descendieron del monte, Jesús les mandó, diciendo: “No digáis a nadie la visión, hasta que el Hijo del Hombre resucite de los muertos.”

23 And when he got into the boat, his disciples followed him. 24 And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but he was asleep. 25 And they went and woke him, saying, “Save us, Lord; we are perishing.” 26 And he said to them, “Why are you afraid, you of little faith?” Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. 27 And the men marveled, saying, “What sort of man is this, that even winds and sea obey him?”

Mateo 8:23-27

23 Y cuando Él hubo entrado en una barca, sus discípulos le siguieron. 24 Y he aquí que se levantó en el mar una tempestad tan grande que las olas cubrían la barca; mas Él dormía. 25 Y vinieron sus discípulos y le despertaron, diciendo: Señor, sálvanos, que perecemos. 26 Y Él les dijo: “¿Por qué teméis, hombres de poca fe?” Entonces, levantándose, reprendió a los vientos y al mar, y se hizo grande bonanza. 27 Y los hombres se maravillaron, diciendo: ¿Qué clase de hombre es Éste, que aun los vientos y el mar le obedecen?

John 2:1-11

1 On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. 2 Jesus also was invited to the wedding with his disciples. 3 When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They have no wine.” 4 And Jesus said to her, “Woman, *xlwhat does this have to do with me? My hour has not yet come.” 5 His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” 6 Now there were six stone water jars there for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty gallons. 7 Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. 8 And he said to them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the feast.” So they took it. 9 When the master of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and did not know where it came from (though the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom 10 and said to him, “Everyone serves the good wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then the poor wine. But you have kept the good wine until now.” 11 This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee, and manifested *xqhis glory. And *xrhis disciples believed in him.

Juan 2:1-11

1 Y al tercer día se hicieron unas bodas en Caná de Galilea; y estaba allí la madre de Jesús. 2 Y fueron también invitados a las bodas Jesús y sus discípulos. 3 Y faltando el vino, la madre de Jesús le dijo: No tienen vino. 4 Jesús le dijo: “¿Qué tengo yo contigo, mujer?” Aún no ha venido mi hora. 5 Su madre dijo a los siervos: Haced todo lo que Él os dijere. 6 Y estaban allí seis tinajas de piedra para agua, conforme a la purificación de los judíos, y en cada una cabían dos o tres cántaros. 7 Jesús les dijo: “Llenad de agua estas tinajas.” Y las llenaron hasta arriba. 8 Y les dijo: “Sacad ahora, y llevadla al maestresala.” Y se la llevaron. 9 Y cuando el maestresala probó el agua hecha vino, y no sabía de dónde era (mas lo sabían los siervos que habían sacado el agua), el maestresala llamó al esposo, 10 y le dijo: Todo hombre sirve primero el buen vino, y cuando ya han bebido mucho, entonces el que es inferior, pero tú has guardado el buen vino hasta ahora. 11 Este principio de milagros hizo Jesús en Caná de Galilea, y manifestó su gloria; y sus discípulos creyeron en Él.

Matthew 3:13-17

13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to John, to be baptized by him. 14 John would have prevented him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?” 15 But Jesus answered him, “Let it be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he consented. 16 And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him; 17 and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”

Mateo 3:13-17

Luke 2:41-52

41 Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover. 42 And when he was twelve years old, they went up according to custom. 43 And when the feast was ended, as they were returning, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. His parents did not know it, 44 but supposing him to be in the group they went a day’s journey, but then they began to search for him among their relatives and acquaintances, 45 and when they did not find him, they returned to Jerusalem, searching for him. 46 After three days they found him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. 47 And all who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers. 48 And when his parents*n1 saw him, they were astonished. And his mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us so? Behold, your father and I have been searching for you in great distress.” 49 And he said to them, “Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?”*n1 50 And they did not understand the saying that he spoke to them. 51 And he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was submissive to them. And his mother treasured up all these things in her heart. 52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature*n1 and in favor with God and man.

Lucas 2:41-52

41 E iban sus padres todos los años a Jerusalén en la fiesta de la pascua. 42 Y cuando tuvo doce años, subieron ellos a Jerusalén conforme a la costumbre de la fiesta. 43 Y cuando cumplieron los días, regresando ellos, el niño Jesús se quedó en Jerusalén, sin saberlo José y su madre. 44 Y pensando que estaba en la compañía, anduvieron camino de un día; y le buscaban entre los parientes y entre los conocidos; 45 y como no le hallaron, volvieron a Jerusalén buscándole. 46 Y aconteció que tres días después le hallaron en el templo, sentado en medio de los doctores, oyéndoles y preguntándoles. 47 Y todos los que le oían, se admiraban de su inteligencia, y de sus respuestas. 48 Y cuando le vieron, se asombraron; y le dijo su madre: Hijo, ¿por qué nos has hecho así? He aquí, tu padre y yo te hemos buscado con angustia. 49 Entonces Él les dijo: “¿Por qué me buscabais? ¿No sabíais que en los negocios de mi Padre me es necesario estar?” 50 Mas ellos no entendieron las palabras que les habló. 51 Y descendió con ellos, y vino a Nazaret, y estaba sujeto a ellos. Y su madre guardaba todas estas cosas en su corazón. 52 Y Jesús crecía en sabiduría y en estatura, y en gracia para con Dios y los hombres.

Galatians 3:23-29

23 Now before faith came, we were held captive under the law, imprisoned until the coming faith would be revealed. 24 So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith. 25 But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian, 26 for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise.

Gálatas 3:23-20

23 Pero antes que viniese la fe, estábamos guardados bajo la ley, encerrados para aquella fe que había de ser revelada. 24 De manera que la ley fue nuestro ayo para traernos a Cristo, para que fuésemos justificados por la fe. 25 Mas venida la fe, ya no estamos bajo ayo, 26 porque todos sois hijos de Dios por la fe en Cristo Jesús, 27 porque todos los que habéis sido bautizados en Cristo, de Cristo estáis revestidos. 28 Ya no hay judío ni griego; no hay esclavo ni libre; no hay varón ni mujer; porque todos vosotros sois uno en Cristo Jesús. 29 Y si vosotros sois de Cristo, entonces simiente de Abraham sois, y herederos conforme a la promesa.

Luke 12:31-40

35 “Stay dressed for action and keep your lamps burning, 36 and be like men who are waiting for their master to come home from the wedding feast, so that they may open the door to him at once when he comes and knocks. 37 Blessed are those servants*n1 whom the master finds awake when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will dress himself for service and have them recline at table, and he will come and serve them. 38 If he comes in the second watch, or in the third, and finds them awake, blessed are those servants! 39 But know this, that if the master of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have left his house to be broken into. 40 You also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

Lucas 12:31-40

35 “Estén ceñidos vuestros lomos, y vuestras lámparas encendidas;” 36 “y vosotros sed semejantes a hombres que esperan cuando su señor ha de volver de las bodas; para que cuando venga y toque, en seguida le abran.” 37 “Bienaventurados aquellos siervos a quienes el señor, cuando venga, halle velando; de cierto os digo que se ceñirá, y hará que se sienten a la mesa, y vendrá y les servirá.” 38 “Y si viene a la segunda vigilia, o aunque venga a la tercera vigilia, y los halla así, bienaventurados son aquellos siervos.” 39 “Y esto sabed, que si supiese el padre de familia a qué hora había de venir el ladrón, velaría ciertamente, y no dejaría minar su casa.” 40 “Vosotros, pues, también, estad apercibidos; porque a la hora que no penséis, el Hijo del Hombre vendrá.”

Titus 3:4-7

4 But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Tito 3:4-7

4 Pero cuando se manifestó la bondad de Dios nuestro Salvador, y su amor para con los hombres, 5 nos salvó, no por obras de justicia que nosotros hayamos hecho, sino por su misericordia, por el lavamiento de la regeneración y de la renovación del Espíritu Santo; 6 el cual derramó en nosotros abundantemente por Jesucristo nuestro Salvador, 7 para que justificados por su gracia, viniésemos a ser herederos conforme a la esperanza de la vida eterna.
